Tolkien Reading Day Cards

Tolkien Reading Day is an annual observance organized by The Tolkien Society, launched in 2003 to encourage people everywhere to read, share and celebrate the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. It is held on 25 March, the date within The Lord of the Rings traditionally associated with the destruction of the One Ring and the downfall of Sauron, and aims to promote public readings, library and school events, book groups and other activities that highlight Tolkien’s literature and its cultural influence. It is a commemorative cultural observance rather than a public holiday.
