Hanukkah Cards

Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is an Jewish holiday commemorating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem during the 2nd century BCE, where the Jewish people revolted against their Greek-Syrian oppressors. According to tradition, despite only having enough consecrated oil to keep the temple menorah burning for one day, the oil miraculously lasted eight days, allowing time to prepare and consecrate more. The holiday is celebrated by lighting the menorah, playing dreidel, exchanging gifts, and enjoying special foods like latkes and sufganiyot.
