Three Kings' Day Cards

A Christian feast celebrated on January 6 commemorating the visit of the Magi (the Three Kings or Wise Men) to the infant Jesus and the revelation of Christ to the Gentiles. Originating in early Christianity, Epiphany marks the end of the Twelve Days of Christmas in many Western traditions and is observed with liturgies, blessings, and cultural customs. In many Spanish-speaking countries and parts of Europe, it is a day for processions (e.g., the Cabalgata), special foods (such as the Rosca de Reyes or King's Cake), and gift-giving to children in remembrance of the Magi's gifts. Eastern Christian churches may observe related events (such as the Baptism of Jesus) on different dates according to their calendars.
