Epiphany Cards
Epiphany (from Greek epiphaneia, 'manifestation') is a Christian feast commemorating the revelation of Jesus Christ to the world. In Western Christianity it primarily marks the visit of the Magi (Three Wise Men) to the infant Jesus and the manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles; in Eastern Christianity the feast (often called Theophany) emphasizes the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan as a revelation of the Trinity. Celebrations and customs vary worldwide, including liturgies and blessings, the blessing of homes and holy water, the chalking of doors, processions and star-singing, and cultural traditions such as gift-giving and special breads (e.g., Rosca de Reyes / King cake). It traditionally concludes the Twelve Days of Christmas on January 6th.
